Jerry Dixon is the bassist and founding member of the rock band Warrant 1984-Present.
His band Warrant originated from Hollywood, California, in the United States. The band was formed by then 16-year-old bassist Jerry Dixon and 19-year-old guitarist Erik Turner. The famous lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jani Lane, guitarist Joey Allen, drummer Steven Sweet, bassist Jerry Dixon, and guitarist Erik Turner. Warrant’s debut album, “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich,” was released in 1989 and was a massive success, reaching number ten on the Billboard 200 chart. The album included hit singles such as “Down Boys,” “Sometimes She Cries,” and “Heaven.” The success of their first album paved the way for their second album, “Cherry Pie,” which was released in 1990. The title track, “Cherry Pie,” became Jerry and the band’s biggest hit, reaching number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The band continues to release successful albums including the critically acclaimed “Dog Eat Dog” that was followed by several albums including, “Belly To Belly,” “Ultraphobic”, Under the Influence, “Born Again,” “ROCKAHOLIC,” “Louder Harder Faster.”
